Mari L. Matsumoto
Mari L. Matsumoto holds a juris doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, where she participated actively in the Immigrant Families Advocacy Project and the Immigration Law Clinic. As a law student, Ms. Matsumoto worked as a legal clerk for the Washington State Attorney General's Office, an extern for the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and a research assistant to Professor Robert H. Aronson. She holds a masters degree in Spanish language and literature and two undergraduate degrees in Latin American Studies and Spanish. She speaks Spanish and understands some Japanese. In her free time, she enjoys sea kayaking, backpacking and snowshoeing.
